Shop Room

If you have a site which is near to commercial space, you can make shops. Most of the times building shops is a profitable way of earning more. Here are the few things which i observed while constructing my shop. Keep following items in your mind to construct a shop room

you need to take commercial Power connection

  1. In case your shop uses water connection you need to take water connection as commercial connection
  2. For commercial buildings property Tax will be high when compared to residential buildings
  3. In case if it is paying guest building, then this will come under commercial building

Shutter lock:

Provide center lock so that your shop will have additional safety

Few of the center locks will have three keys and one of the key will be master-key.

If you lock the shutter with master-key and if you try to open with normal key then lock will not open. Instead you have to do other way around.

This will go inside flooring

Shutter edge and closing:

It is better to have L angle at the end of shutter. while closing this L angle  will go and sit in the metal grue which is fixed in the flooring. This will enable more security for your shop. I was not advised about this.

If you have given your shop for water related business then grue line will catch-up some rust. other than this i didn’t see any disadvantage. So think about this

Brick work around shutter channel:

I used this shop room paint for shutter.

Mistakes i did during stone laying:

With respect to slop i did a mistake and my father identified this

you can observe the slop for my house entrance for vehicle movement. I have given same slop  for shop also

After finishing all the work it came fine.

Next day my father came from my native place and identified slop is more and it will not be not be convenient to people to walk.

next we removed all the stones before shop room and reduced height.

Completed plastering for steps

[singlepic id=433 w=400 h=320 mode=watermark float=]

[singlepic id=434 w=400 h=320 mode=watermark float=]

covered stone gaps with cement and filled concrete at the starting

Lesson learnt: For shop rooms you should keep less slop then normal.
